Ryan McGivern

Ryan McGivern is a Northern Ireland international defender who plays for . Born on 8th January 1990, McGivern has more than 20 caps for Northern Ireland, including two of his country’s qualifying matches for UEFA Euro 2016. Having started out at Manchester City, he was part of the 2008 FA Youth Cup-winning side that included Daniel Sturridge before making his sole Premier League appearance in March 2011. He remained attached to City until July 2013 – when he signed for Hibernian as a free agent – but would take in loan spells at five clubs across the Championship and League One during that time. Having played in the 2013 Scottish FA Cup final defeat for Hibs against Celtic, McGivern returned to England with Port Vale and then Shrewsbury Town in July 2016.
