Salvatore Sirigu

Salvatore Sirugu is a Italian goalkeeper, who plays for Torino on loan from PSG. Born 12th January 1987, Sirigu started his career at Serie A side Palermo making 69 Serie A appearances between 2006 and 2011. He impressed enough for PSG to make a move as they forked over €4 million. Signed as a back up to Nelson Douchez, he started all PSG’s Ligue 1 games in his first year, winning the leagues goalkeeper of the year award in the process. A regular until 2015, he left the club in 2016 in search for first team football after being replaced by Kevin Trapp. He joined Sevilla on the 26th August 2016, Sirigu got sent off in his second match for the club after elbowing veteran striker Aduriz.
