Timothy Fosu-Mensah is a Dutch defender or midfielder, born on 2nd January 1998, who plays for Manchester United. Fosu-Mensah was a member of Ajax’s academy until he joined Manchester United in 2014. Used in a variety of positions across defence and midfield, the Dutchman caught the eye of Louis van Gaal and made his first team debut in February 2016. His breakthrough to the Red Devils’ first team saw him named in the Dutch senior squad for the first time, having played at under-15, under-17 and under-19 levels.
