Vanja Milinkovic-Savic

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is a Serbian youth international goalkeeper who currently plays club football for Standard Liège. Born on 20th February 1997, in Spain, he arrived in Serbia via Austrian club Grazer Athletiksport Klub 1902, before making his way through the junior sides to the first XI at FK Vojvodina Novi Sad in the 2014/14 SuperLiga. He signed a five-year contract at Manchester United in July 2014, but having failed to the fulfil the work permit criteria for non-EU players, his stay at Old Trafford ended after just 18 months. After returning to Vojvodina he switched to Lechia Gdansk in January 2016.
