Victor Anichebe

Victor Anichebe is a Nigerian international striker who plays for . Born in 23rd April 1988, in Lagos, Nigeria, Anichebe moved to Liverpool as a child and earned a place at the Everton academy, He made his first-team debut for the Toffees in a FA Cup tie against Chelsea in January 2006 – the first of more than 150 appearances for the club. During seven years in the Everton first team, Anichebe was part of the side that reached the 2009 FA Cup final, although he missed the final defeat to Chelsea through injury, and played in the UEFA Cup in 2007 and 2008. He moved to West Bromwich Albion for £6m in September 2013 – scoring nine times in 55 appearances during three years at The Hawthorns. At the end of his contract, he was signed on a one-year deal by Sunderland in September 2016. Anichebe made his full international debut in May 2008 and represented his country and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
