Wilfried Bony is an Ivorian striker, born on 10th December 1988, who plays for . Having started his career playing in Cote d’Ivoire, Bony moved to Europe to play for Sparta Prague in 2007, initially playing for their ‘B’ team. Quickly breaking through to the first team, Bony enjoyed a prolific first half of the 2010-11 season to earn himself a move to Vitesse Arnhem. After finishing the 2012-13 season as the top scorer in the Eredivisie, Bony attracted interest from England and signed for Swansea City in July 2013. The Ivorian remained at the Welsh club until January 2015, when he joined Manchester City for around £25 million. Bony made his debut for the Cote d’Ivoire senior team in 2010.
