Yaya Touré

Yaya Toure is an Ivorian central midfielder who plays for . The midfielder was born on 13th May 1983 in Bouake and started his career with ASEC Mimosas before moving to Beveren in 2001. Beveren were then owned by Jean-Marc Guillou who was aiming to give a European showcase for Ivorian footballers. Four years later, Toure signed with Olympiakos, winning the double in his only season at the club, before moving to AS Monaco in the summer of 2006. Another one season stay saw Toure move to Barcelona in the 2007 where he featured in a hugely successful period for the Catalan club, then moving to Manchester City in July 2010. Toure won Premier League titles with City in both 2012 and 2014.
