Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish striker who plays for LA Galaxy. The forward has played for a number of the world’s biggest teams, but he began his career with Malmo in Sweden, before swiftly making a move to Ajax in 2001 for a fee of around £8 million. During three years with Ajax, Ibrahimovic won the Eredivisie title and rapidly built himself a huge reputation in world football before a falling out with his team-mate Rafael van der Vaart meant he was sold to Juventus in the summer of 2004. After Juventus were relegated due to their involvement in the corruption scandal, Ibrahimovic moved on to Inter Milan, where he won several trophies and awards including the Serie A football of the Year. In July 2009, Ibrahimovic left Inter for Barcelona as part of a swap deal with Samuel Eto’o. After a difficult relationship with the Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola, Ibrahimovic was loaned to AC Milan for the 2010-11 where he then stayed for the following season, too. In 2012, the Swede joined Paris Saint Germain and won several league titles before he announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
