Colorado Rapids are an American soccer team based in Denver. They compete in the MLS, in the Western Conference. The Rapids began playing in 1998, becoming one of the MLS charter clubs. They also won the MLS Cup in only their second appearance in 2010. The Rapids play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City since its opening in the 2007 season, with a capacity of 18,061.
